There is plenty to do in SLC with kids. Contact the Visitor Center in the Salt Palace or go on-line. There is a very nice Heritage Center where you can ride a train with a narrator. It’s near the This is the Place monument. Also an arboretum near the University. You will need several hours in the Library…..hope you get to do it.
