I was so delighted to receive this picture of my great-great grandmother, Christina Elisabeth Bennberg Klarström. She was born in Sweden in 1845. I know through passenger records that she made at least two trips to the United States – one with her daughter Eugenia (my great-grandmother) in 1904/5 and another trip in 1910. Both times, her final destination was listed as Boston – at least 3 of her daughters lived in that area. She must have made a trip to New York though, because this picture was taken at Niagara Falls! This is the first picture I have ever seen of her and it’s so nice to put a face to her name. 🙂
