thanks, so much, for the mention about my reenacting adventures. I've been having computer issues and haven't had time to read blogs lately. Hoping to get back on my own computer soon and catch up.
Glad you had such a fun trip. It sounds like a wonderful experience.

I love meeting other geneabloggers at conventions and always feel a special connection with them after the conventions. I hope we can all meet up again some time (Ellie, too!). You all helped to make this convention a really wonderful experience for me.

Thanks for the kind comments about my Spanish story. I've learned a lot researching my in-laws side of the family tree. For thirty years I've only done New England genealogy, so this has been a true labor of love reading catholic records in a foreign language.

Hi Jen, thanks for the shout out as well. It was really cool to meet up with other bloggers. This just goes to show that we don't need a dedicated bloggers table at the show or a dedicated blogger to organize events for us because we ended up finding each other on our own (although I'm sure the blogger dinner on Tuesday night DID help).

I think too it was easy to spot each other. We were the ones walking around aimlessly holding our phones up in the air praying to the cell phone service gods and goddesses for service PLEASE!

I'm so glad you and Ellie got the chance to explore these parts of the country. I forgot to tell you that when I was 16, I took a similar trip with my mom (In fact we went to Magnolia Gardens - I should send you pics of me and the deer sometime), although we traversed the southern parts of the country. It was a great learning experience. I hope you are enjoying time with your family and I look forward to more stories and pictures!

Thanks for the shout out Jen. I followed your conference week adventures. I wished I could have been there with you! And that daughter of yours, well all I can say is WOW! Tell her that I would love to do a genealogy TV special with her sometime. If TV Land won't have us we can You-Tube it! I would promise not to get thrown in jail while she was with me filming. LOL
