Palmer M. Melhus was my great-grandmother’s half-brother’s son. That sounds more confusing than it is.
When I first started researching this line, I kept getting confused, because my great-grandmother also has a brother named Palmer Melhus, who was born a mere 3 years before this Palmer. Thankfully, I have them straightened out now.
Palmer was born 24 Oct 1900 and died 31 July 1966. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was buried in Riverside Cemetery in Dunseith, Rolette County, North Dakota.
