Theodore Sanchez and Patricia Melhus were my great-grandparents. They lived in Minnesota and later Washington state. I never got a chance to meet either of them. They died 15-20 years before I was born. There is so much I would have loved to ask them!

Theodore was my grandpa that taught me how to tie my shoes. He lived with us a short time in 1960-61. He had a lot of patience to be able to teach a little boy the story of the rabbit, and show how it looped in and under the other strings. He was a good man.
I didn’t realize that he had lived with you guys for a while! How neat that he taught you to tie your shoes.
