This is my great-great grandmother, Sally Jane (Lee) Agee. She was born in VA, but lived most of her life in Ringgold county, Iowa.
She lost her arm in a carriage accident of some sort, but was still able to quilt! I can’t even quilt with two hands and a sewing machine, so I’m dumbfounded that she could do this. 🙂
