It was very hard to spend the day in Washington DC today and not step foot in the National Archives. Very hard.
It really wasn’t an option though. I have 5 very tired kids (one with a blister). No stroller. Temps in the 80′s. We hit the Natural History Museum, Air and Space Museum, memorials, and the Bureau of Engraving and Printing. They were done. There was no stopping.
I could cry.
I did however snap a picture on the way past it.

Sounds like you had enough on your hands already, but as you say, NEXT TIME! Hope it’s not too long till you get some time to go.
Oh man Jennifer! I am crying for you. I have to say that you’re a better mom than me, I would have tied the kids up at the bike rack and went on inside! LOL
