We are more than a few hours away from Charleston, but not too far (Washington, DC), so I am hoping I can attend NGS in 2011. Hope to see you there!

Sharon,
Savannah sounds wonderful. I don't think that I have run into anyone that doesn't love it. I'm so excited that we're actually going to LIVE there. :)
Thanks for the tip about having a second choice. That is a very good idea. No sense wasting your time listening to something that you don't need/want to hear.

Hi there,

I've been following your blog so I know you are moving to Savannah. You will LOVE it. My husband and I lived in Beaufort, SC for 12 years and always took our out-of-town guests to Savannah for a day. It's so beautiful and laid back, beautiful flowers in the 'squares.' Charleston is also nice to visit, but much more hectic (IMHO). They are totally different even tho they are so close geographically.

I attended the NGS in SLC and overall it was great (notwithstanding the weather). There were a couple of lectures I could/should have avoided. Plan to have a second choice -- you can always get up and leave if you find it's not what you expected. It's good to get an aisle seat <8-))

Enjoy!
