Genealogy took a back seat to real life for a while. :) I had thought that spending a year without my husband would give me a lot of quiet nights to do research, but the reality of being the only caregiver for 5 kiddos was a lot to handle. Thankfully, he’s home now and we’re moving to Savannah, Georgia in a couple of months. I’m looking forward to the sun! And to the genealogical opportunities on the East Coast!

I agree – I would love to take some more classes from Karen. Maybe eventually she’ll add some more.

I’ve been wanting to start a genealogy blog for ages, but just finished getting it ready this past week. I did all of the design myself – which I had never done before. It’s amazing what you can do when you read some tutorials! It was actually a lot of fun.

You have a wonderful blog by the way! Glad to see that you’ve moved into the professional realm. How exciting!
